Below Mastery
With your student, arrange objects into equal groups and count the objects to practice multiplication and division.
At or Near Mastery
With your student, take turns describing a simple multiplication or division problem as a story, then solve each other’s story problems.
Above Mastery
With your student, create an equation with two operations and an unknown number, for example, 2 x 3 + b = 10, then have your student represent the equation as a story problem.
