Here are some exercises you can work on at home with your Grade 4 student.
Below Mastery
With your student, measure objects and practice converting those measurements within a system of units including centimeters and meters, cups and quarts, and hours and minutes.
At or Near Mastery
With your student, classify triangles as acute, right, or obtuse, and as scalene, isosceles, or equilateral; and solve measurement problems involving distance, time, volume, and money.
Above Mastery
With your student, classify quadrilaterals as squares, rectangles, trapezoids, parallelograms, or none of these; and create measurement problems involving distance, time, volume, and money.
