With your student, identify and memorize the equations for the area and the circumference of a circle. A = πr<sup>2</sup>; C = 2πr

At or Near Mastery

With your student, discuss methods to estimate the volume of common household items; for example, a support column, a tissue box, a mug.

Above Mastery

With your student, solve multi-step problems with three-dimensional figures; for example, the volume of a cylinder given its height and surface area.
